HammerHead launches new ROUGHNECK™ R400 Pneumatic Rock Hammer System
May 13, 2013 – OCONOMOWOC, Wisc. – HammerHead has launched the new ROUGHNECK R400 Pneumatic Rock Hammer system for the underground construction industry. The system includes the R400 air hammer, 5.25-inch straight and offset bits, patent-pending pullback kit, control station/oiler, drill conversion kit and universal HD high-flow rock drill housing. The ROUGHNECK R400 is designed to drill at rates up to 150 feet per hour while providing enhanced steering performance.

April 3, 2013 – OCONOMOWOC, Wisc. – HammerHead Trenchless Equipment and its new 34-inch ramming hammer received the Joseph L. Abbott Jr. Innovative Product Award at the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) Annual No-Dig Show.

HammerHead introduces new HydraLiner Lateral Lining System
February 25, 2013 – OCONOMOWOC, Wisc. – HammerHead Trenchless Equipment introduced its new HydraLiner Lateral Lining system at the 2013 Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo International Feb. 25. The new CIPP lateral lining system for installing cured-in-place pipe liners features the first composite inversion drums to be offered in North America. HammerHead is best known for its pipe bursting, pipe ramming, pneumatic piercing tools and down-hole tools for horizontal directional drilling. Ryan Boldan, HammerHead product manager, said, “The addition of our new CIPP product line provides our customers with a complete trenchless solution for both replacing and rehabilitating lateral lines.”

World’s largest pipe-ramming hammer unveiled at 2013 UCT Expo
Jan. 29, 2013 – OCONOMOWOC, Wisc. – HammerHead Trenchless Equipment unveiled the world’s largest pneumatic pipe ramming hammer at the 2013 Underground Construction Technology International Conference & Exhibition being held Jan. 29 through 31 in Houston. The 34-inch hammer can install casing 48 inches to 180 inches in diameter in drainage culvert and washover applications and can be used for pipe assist or pipe extraction, guided pilot bore ramming, and horizontal directional drilling assist.

HammerHead Trenchless Equipment is pleased to announce the release of the PIPE MULE PIPE LEVELING SYSTEM. This patent pending system from HammerHead makes on-grade pipe ramming a cinch. Align and set your grade up to a pitch of 7° per 20 foot section, using the Pipe Mule system and you’re ready to ram. With a combined lifting capacity of 240 tons, grade and directional adjustments can even be made on the fly on casings up to 84” (2.13 m) diameter.
